Welcome to our research group led by Dr. Weiran Zheng 郑蔚然! Our mission is to deepen the understanding of electrochemical interfaces and processes by leveraging cutting-edge operando electrochemical methods. We focus on tracking electrochemical behavior in real time to unravel the mechanisms behind activity, selectivity, and, most importantly, the degradation of electrocatalysts. Using advanced techniques such as spectroelectrochemistry and scanning probe microscopy, we aim to elucidate the dynamic evolution of surface sites and the underlying causes of catalyst deactivation. By addressing these fundamental challenges, we aim to contribute to the development of more efficient and durable electrocatalysis systems, ultimately helping to achieve a greener and shared future.
